Pregnant YouTube celebrity Nicole Thea and her unborn child have died, her family said in a statement Sunday. She was 24.
"To all Nicole's friends and supporters, it is with great sadness that I have to inform you that Nicole and her son she and Boga named Reign sadly passed away on Saturday morning," read a statement posted to Thea's Instagram page.
The statement went on to explain that before her death, Thea, who had more than 85,000 YouTube subscribers, had scheduled some videos to appear on her channel. Those videos will air as scheduled, according to the post.
Thea's family also requested privacy as they grieve.
"My beautiful baby girl Nicnac and my grandson Reign, I will miss you for the rest of my life until we meet again in eternal heaven," concluded the post, signed by Thea's mother.
Representatives for Thea have not specified how she died, the news outlets reported.
