VICTORY, a branch of the American Cancer Society, is a group of active, associate, and sustaining members founded in 1987 to raise funds for cancer research, education, advocacy, and patient services in the Houston area. With approximately 130 active members, incoming members make a four-year commitment to work year-round supporting our events, the Cattle Baron's Ball and the Holiday Shopping Card. To date, VICTORY has donated more than $32 million to our cause.

Our Cattle Baron's Ball is unique and is one of the top fundraising events in the United States for the American Cancer Society. Corporations, donors, vendors, and Houston's finest join together to put on a gala with top entertainers, Texas cuisine, games, and auctions.

The Holiday Shopping Card is Houston's most anticipated fall fundraising event. Shoppers donate a minimum of $70 to purchase a card and merchants ante up a 20% discount on their purchases during an eleven-day shopping spree. The Holiday Shopping Card is a win, win, win concept, which really works and benefits the buyer, the merchant, and the American Cancer Society.
