Erica’s Super Secret Recipe for Red Velvet Cake Balls

 alt=

Ok, so this is the recipe that everyone always asks me for and I hardly ever give it out.  So far every one that has made it though says that it’s super easy and extremely good….here it goes

Ingredients:

1 box red velvet cake

1 can cream cheese frosting

12 ounces of Bakers White Chocolate

Directions:

  1. Make cake as directed on box (I add a dash of Mexican Vanilla for flavor)
  2. Put in a pan, bake it.
  3. Let cool for a little bit.
  4. Then crumble it in a mixing bowl.
  5. Mix in the container of cream cheese with the cake crumbles until moist and mixed

Use a double boiler (I use a glass bowl and put it over a pan filled with water) to warm up the white chocolate.  Remember to not burn the chocolate.

Use an ice cream scooper to form balls out of the cake and frosting mixture.  Dip the balls into the white chocolate.  I sometimes just put the balls on a baking sheet covered with wax paper and scoop the white chocolate on top of it.  Either way, place them on wax paper and I decorate by shaking some red sprinkles on top.  You can place them in the refrigerator to let the chocolate harden.

So good and so easy!!!!!!  Let me know how they turn out for you!
