We spoke with former Marine Jason Shaw from Pasadena along with Congressman Pete Olson regarding this weekend's Impact A Hero weekend, specifically the 5k run on Saturday morning. Kathie Lee Gifford asked a series of questions to actor/comedian Martin Short about his wife and his marriage during yesterday's segment on NBC's TODAY Show. Problem is that Martin Short's wife passed away nearly 2 years ago. Very uncomfortable video that you can see on our Facebook page but it got us wondering about the question you've asked before that you wish you could have taken back. First though, Timmy T uncovered a story where criminals were interviewed and asked how potential victims could escape injury/death if a gun is ever pointed at them and how a victim could get their wallet/purse back if they ever lose it/get it stolen. The mom of an 8-year-old in Arizona is ticked off because the teacher of her third grade daughter gave the girl a year end award for person to turn in the least amount of homework. The woman got mad because she thinks it's a joke award making fun of her daughter. We wanted to hear from teachers who have had run-ins with parents. We had a Gotta Get Away opportunity for the worst experience. The one we got was almost impossible to top. Hear the story here. The Dirty Deed Drawer spoke today and Shane answered the call. Rob Schneider from SNL and movie fame joined us this morning to promote his weekend appearances at the Houston Improv. He told us how he and his wife are expecting and then he took us through the progression of the baby's growth. If you're an expectant parent, you might want to listen so that you know what you're getting into. Kline, who is notorious for getting weird around celebrities, was actually calm around Rob Schneider. All that went out the window though when we had a Navy SEAL in the studio. Oh yes, Kline started with the awkward questions right out of the gate. Check it out here. In the midst of this political season, with all of the mudslinging ads on the air, it seems like it was only a matter of time before the skewering hit the Q Zoo. It's kind of funny though because none of us are running for office. Doesn't matter to the PAC's who have money to burn on anti-Zoo ads. Listen to them here. We released a story about a Tennessee woman who was involved in a freak accident. While riding her motorcycle, an errant golf shot from a nearby course smashed into her face knocking out some of her teeth. We wanted to know about the freak accident you experienced. Happy 60th birthday, George Strait. As we celebrated the King of Country Music's milestone day, it was pretty much all about George. We started with a conversation with a guy who really deserves more credit than he gets. The legendary San Antonio radio host, Cousin Jerry King, the man who first played a George Strait song on the radio, shared the story with us about that time he had George in studio and George's reaction to hearing his song on the radio the first time. Listen to it here. Next we spoke with George's current touring partner, Martina McBride. She told us that George is perfect and she also shared with us what he would most appreciate for a birthday gift. You can find out what that gift is here. We heard from listener JB from Needville as he shared his George Strait story and his brush with The King's greatness. Pretty funny stuff that we can hear here. We found a story about a couple who found a used condom in their hotel room. They were denied an upgrade or a free night's stay. Erica, who used to work in the hotel industry, revealed, to the dismay of Kline, how to get a free upgrade or night's stay. Check it out here but you have to promise us that you won't use this to scam establishments. Jeremy and Stacie went on a first date and according to Stacie, it went well, not great, but good enough to her that Jeremy should have called her for a second date. That hasn't happened so we called Jeremy to find out the deal. This didn't go well as you'll find out here. We talked about the 67-year-old El Paso guy who died of a heart attack while receiving a lap dance and we mentioned the death of Mitchell Guist of Swamp People who died while in his boat on the lake. We wanted to know if you knew anyone who "went out the way they would have wanted to". Listen to these scenarios. Today in our Critter Corner, you'll meet Doodles. Such a sad story out of Brooklyn where a 12-year-old boy was playing a game of chicken involving a parking garage with his friends and he lost. He paid the ultimate penalty as he was crushed. It got us thinking about the times we defied death growing up so we asked you to call us and give us your stories. Check out our calls here. Timmy T and Erica were flabbergasted at the story out of Denver where a 6-year-old boy was suspended for telling a female classmate that he's sexy and I know it from the LMFAO song of the same name. Timmy T found a study about the well known 5 second rule. We have heard conflicting reports about bacteria on food as soon as it touches the ground and then we read that it can't happen that fast. Get an unsuspecting mark involved in a fight with an angry boyfriend of a girl that Tex had dated. You gotta listen to this as Tex challenges the guy on the phone to a fight but describes what he looks like as the unsuspecting mark in Starbucks. If you've never heard one of Timmy T's patented age guessing formulas you're in luck. He released another one today where he could identify your age, plus or minus one year, based on the first R rated movie you saw. How did this one go? He usually runs the table and nails every one of these. Notice we said "usually"?

Cameron Diaz told Jay Leno about the time she freaked out after she got a short haircut. Timmy T wondered why ladies were the only ones who freak out and guys never do.
