While he made headlines recently for possibly being Frank Sinatra’s love child, Ronan Farrow is now going to be reporting headlines instead.
MSNBC announced Wednesday that the 25-year-old Rhodes Scholar and former Obama administration adviser will be getting a one hour weekday on show on the left-leaning news network starting in January.
“Ronan [Farrow] has packed more experience into his 25 years of life than most people have in a lifetime” said MSNBC president Phil Griffin in making the announcement.
Farrow – son of actress Mia Farrow – was a child prodigy, entering college in his early teens and obtaining a law degree. He has been highly active in humanitarian causes and foreign policy issues, especially regarding Africa.
“This is a new generation of news show for a new, more engaged generation of viewers. I’m excited to shake up people’s expectations for cable news. And to get a ton of Twitter followers” Farrow noted in the statement.
But the blue-eyed scholar made the news recently when his mother Mia told Vanity Fairthat there was a strong possibility that Ronan was the biological child of her ex-husband and longtime lover Frank Sinatra and not the son of Woody Allen as had been believed.
