Fans of Outkast are having a much happier Monday – the band has announced they’re reuniting for a 40 date festival tour in 2014.
The band’s newly launched Twitter and Facebook accounta broke the news late Monday morning.
“I’m looking forward to rocking the stage with my Bro Ski and to all the fans – stank you smelly much, this is for y’all!” Big Boi announced.
Andre 3000 added “returning to the stage together is the most exciting way for us to thank everyone for 20 years of supporting Outkast.” Their debut album Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik came out back in 1994.
The group has been on hiatus since 2007 to pursue solo work. Antwan “Big Boi” Patton and Andre “Andre 3000″ Benjamin already announced they’d be coming together for the Coachella Arts & Music Festival this spring. But now fans across the world are going to get to see them in person!
