Glee star Jane Lynch says she’s having a very drama-free divorce from wife Dr. Laura Embry.
She told Larry King on his webcast Larry King Now Monday night that “it’s not dramatic. It’s not a horrible thing. It’s something that we’re dealing with. It’s two people who just decided it’s better to go apart than stay together.” The couple married in 2010.
And the 53-year-old Emmy winner vows to stay close to Embry’s daughter Haden. “We have a little girl — she has a little girl who’s very dear to me. She’s ten, and she’s doing great. We have to remain adults, which we have. We keep everybody’s – especially Haden’s — good in our mind.”
The interview was taped prior to the death of her Glee co-star Cory Monteith. At the time of the interview Lynch said of Monteith “he went to rehab, and he’s out now and he’s doing great. He was sober for many, many years. And he’s a young man. So he just had to kind of renew his vows to sobriety.”
Monteith was found deceased in a Vancouver, British Columbia hotel room Saturday. The BC coroner has not yet released the cause of death.
