These days, many Hollywood actresses have babies and within a few months are back to their pre-pregnancy weight. Something that just doesn’t happen in the real world.
But at least one star is getting candid that taking off baby weight really is a struggle.
Ali Larter discusses her struggles with losing the baby weight she gained during her pregnancy with son Teddy in the new issue of Health magazine. The 37-year-old gave birth to her son in 2010.
She says “a lot of women say that they breast-feed and the pounds come right off, but for me and [actresses like her friend] Busy [Philipps], who enjoy our cake, it’s not going to come off in two months.”
She went on to add “I gained 45 pounds. Mine came off at about five months, after working out a lot and doing a food delivery service.” The Resident Evil star also notes “‘It’s hard to impress me with a body that hasn’t had a baby. Have a baby and then let’s talk.”
It’s refreshing to see honesty among Hollywood moms! Going from having a baby to size zero in a few months just doesn’t happen in the real world.
