Jane Lynch was all smiles just hours after Corey Monteith’s memorial service on Thursday. But Lynch’s smile wasn’t just a sign of happiness, rather it was a sign of peace.
Corey’s former Glee cast mate told reporters on Thursday that the cast is “finally beginning to heal,” revealing that she found a “new comfort” during the ceremony dedicated to the late actor which took place on the Paramount Pictures lot in Hollywood, CA.
Lynch, along with her pet pooch, was photographed with a sweet smile on her face while visiting a nail salon in Hollywood just moments after saying her last goodbyes to Corey.
Fox released a statement today regarding the private ceremony, saying, “Today, Ryan Murphy and Lea Michele gathered the cast, crew and producers of Glee, along with colleagues from the network and studio, to share memories and music in an emotional celebration of the life of Cory Monteith. We thank the public for their continued outpouring of love and support as we grieve our friend and colleague during this difficult time.”
The 31-year-0ld, who played loveable Finn Hudson on the hit show — a quarterback turned Glee Club member — died of an overdose of heroin and alcohol on July 13.
