Wounded Warriors to Houston

Houston Chronicle

By Tatar Bill

This Friday is a very special live broadcast with the Q Morning Zoo. The New 93Q will be live in Terminal D at IAH airport to welcome the 350 wounded warriors coming in from all over the United States as they go on charter buses to take a deep sea fishing trip this weekend.

We want to give them a Texas-sized welcome, and there’s no better station fans to greet them than ours. There will be many other military groups lined up in Terminal D to greet them when they arrive roughly after 8:30am.

We are encouraging you to come out and join us on the greeting of the soldiers.

If they’d like to attend, you can park in the pay-to-park lots in Terminal D.

Help us welcome all those soldiers as they come through to load up on the charter buses. These men and women are recovering from wounds sustained in combat operations in Iraq and Afghanistan and our presence will support these warriors who have stood in harm’s way for each of us here at home.
