November 27, 2012 (Baton Rouge, LA)—The much-anticipated talent lineup for the fourth annual Bayou Country Superfest was announced today and brings together an unrivaled gathering of some of Country's greatest superstars, including Lady Antebellum, Zac Brown Band, Luke Bryan, Miranda Lambert, Darius Rucker, The Band Perry, Thompson Square, Rodney Atkins, Love and Theft and Frankie Ballard.   Scheduled over Memorial Day Weekend 2013 (Saturday, May 25 & Sunday, May 26), Bayou Country Superfest turns Louisiana State University’s famed Tiger Stadium into country music central for the huge two-day celebration.  Drawing fans from all across North America to Baton Rouge, the Bayou Country Superfest has established itself as a must-see event.

“Year four of the Bayou Country Superfest is a milestone,” said Quint Davis, producer/director of the Festival. “We have set a simple goal: to bring the biggest stars in country music together for the best show in America, a show that the world can only see in Tiger Stadium, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, on Memorial Day weekend. And that is exactly what we have done: Lady Antebellum, the Zac Brown Band, Luke Bryan, Miranda Lambert, The Band Perry, Darius Rucker and more will rock your boots off, and prove once again, there is no place more exciting than Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge on Memorial Weekend.”

Reserved-seat tickets in two-day packages and reserved parking for Bayou Country Superfest go on sale Thursday, December 6 at 10:00 a.m. CST through Ticketmaster.com, all Ticketmaster outlets or by calling (800) 745-3000.  Single-day tickets to the Bayou Country Superfest will go on sale in the coming weeks.  The Baton Rouge River Center Box Office will also be open weekdays from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. for any ticketing or parking purchases.  Bayou Country Superfest is a reserved-seating event, so fans are encouraged to purchase tickets early in order to get the best seats available.  Special VIP upfront, stage-front, standing-room tickets in an area called the Golden Horseshoe will be available in very limited supply.  A limited number of discounted two-day ticket packages will also be available at certain price levels. Don’t forget to add parking to your ticket purchase in one of LSU’s premium parking lots.  Patrons interested in purchasing box suites should call the Bayou Country Superfest Ticket Office at (504) 410-4131. (See attached Ticket Information sheet for details.) Patrons interested in purchasing RV parking in LSU’s Touchdown Village should visit BayouCountrySuperfest.com.

“LSU is pleased to continue to host the Bayou Country Superfest, an event that has proven to be an important annual event for our city and our region.  Tiger Stadium is one of the great sporting venues in the world and now has proven itself as an ideal site for one of the great music events in the world,” said Joe Alleva, LSU Vice Chancellor and Director of Athletics.

“In 2013 we are focusing on promoting one of Louisiana’s greatest assets—our music. In its fourth year, the Bayou Country Superfest will highlight our state’s roots in country music,” Lt. Governor Jay Dardenne said. “We are thrilled to partner with the Superfest again and look forward to celebrating both our musical heritage and our servicemen and women at the big event over Memorial Day weekend.”

“Country music fans across America look at Baton Rouge as the place to be for Memorial Day Weekend thanks to the tremendous success of the Bayou Country Superfest.   With a lineup that keeps getting better and festival activities providing opportunities to meet the stars, this festival has become a major attraction for visitors and an outstanding entertainment venue for our city.  We’re looking forward to another great year,” added Mayor-President Melvin L. “Kip” Holden.
