The Grand Prix of Houston will return to Reliant Park in 2013 with the IZOD IndyCar Series.

It was further announced that the event will hereafter be known as the Shell and Pennzoil Grand Prix of Houston thanks to a multi-year title sponsorship agreement between Shell Oil Company and event promoter Mi-Jack Promotions.

The inaugural Shell and Pennzoil Grand Prix of Houston will take place at Reliant Park on October 4 – 6, 2013.

Fans will have a variety of ticket options to choose from, both Grounds Admission and Reserved Grandstand tickets will be available, and each will be available as single-day or three-day tickets. Reserved Grandstand tickets will offer fans a guaranteed seat for the races Saturday and Sunday as well as the best view of the action at key locations around the track. Single day reserved tickets start at $40, while three-day Reserved Tickets range from $85-$155. The best offer available is the “three-day SuperTicket,” which gives the ticket holder a premium seat in Grandstand 1 as well as a three-day pit pass.

Grounds Admission tickets start at $10 for Friday, presenting the most economical way for fans to enjoy the event and take in the sights and sounds of the Grand Prix. On Friday, most grandstands will be general admission seating, allowing Grounds Admission ticket holders the opportunity to see racecars traveling at more than 180 mph and enjoy a major concert for only $10.
